Mission statement

CPE Lyon is a French « Grande Ecole » specialized in the fields of :

  • Chemistry / Chemical Engineering and
  • Electronics / Telecommunications / Computer Science.

We provide programs in these areas leading to the « diplôme d’ingénieur » (MSc degree).
International students are welcome for 2 or 3 years for our degree program, or for one semester or one academic year on exchange.
Help is provided for accommodation and for administrative formalities.
We offer research projects in our laboratories (organic and analytical chemistry, catalysis, polymers, chemical engineering, computer science, electronics, signal processing).

Summer School :
Every year in June & July : a five-week program to improve French language proficiency and scientific knowledge (in the field of chemistry and chemical engineering).

Mission statement

ECAM is a Graduate School of General Engineering with a main focus on Mechanical, Electrical and Industrial Engineering.

The ECAM Foundation, an officially approved organization, is materially and morally responsible for the Establishment and ensures various missions :

  • ECAM engineering training, leading to the ECAM Master’s of Engineering Degree;
  • FIP ECAM sandwich programme ;
  • Specialized Master’s programme in Lean Management ;
  • Research & Development and technology sharing activities.
  • Continued education activites.

Mission statement

L’Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Saint Etienne (ENSM-SE) is one of the French « Grandes Ecoles » dedicated to training highly qualified engineers and to carrying out research to meet the needs of industry. .Its mission is to support the development of its students and of companies through a range of courses and fields of research, from the initial training of engineers to PhD teaching; from material sciences to micro-electronics via process engineering, the environment, industrial engineering, computer science and health engineering.
The school’s pioneering spirit is seen in its exploration of new scientific themes or international partnerships which makes it a unique player among the top 10 French engineering schools.

Engineering

“Ingénieur civil des mines » - Joint MSc with 2 majors (executive engineering major + specialisation)
High level generalist engineers who are looking to design, set up, manage and develop large scale industrial systems in a global environment.
2 year program including 28 weeks of experience in industry
Taught in English and French
A choice of 30 professional profiles in industrial engineering, IT and software engineering, management, finance, health, materials, process engineering, environment, microelectronics.

Admission requirements : Bachelor of science or equivalent degree in engineering, proficiency in French and English .
Program open to individual degree-seeking students and students from partner universities within the frame of dual-degree agreements.

MSc in microelectronics (ISMEA)
Engineers in circuits and microelectronics system design.
Two-year program taught in French.
Admission requirements : BSc or equivalent in relevant subject, proficiency in French

Research
Masters of Science in the following domains :
Materials, process engineering, image vision and signal, mathematic modelling and applications, web intelligence, sustainable development, computer science and electrical engineering.
PhD programs :
Materials, mechanics and engineering, process engineering, science of industrial and urban environment, mathematic modelling and applications, computer science, industrial engineering, earth science.
Provence Microelectronics Center : manufacturing and logistical science, packaging and flexible substrates, secure systems and architecture.

These one-year full-time programs address young graduates or professionals who wish to complete their initial training by a complementary experience and answer the growing demand for highly qualified experts with dual training.

Programs taught in French : Software engineering, computing and networks – Information and microelectronic systems – Production and Open System Infrastructure Engineering – Business engineer and project manager.

    ITECH LYON’s main goal is the training of engineers for several applications based on a core curricula in polymer sciences allowing the students to specialise in several industrial application: Paints - Inks - Adhesives - Cosmetics, Plastics, Textiles, Leather, shoe and leather-goods manufacturing.
    They will hold positions such as research engineers, commercial engineers or production engineers.

    ITECH’s main subjects are : Polymers, Colour and computer aided colour control, Material processing, Experimental design, Process engineering, Industrial data-processing, Physics and chemistry, Rheology, Surface and Interface, as well as Project management - each of them being a key element for all the industries which have an interest in ITECH.
