Mission statement
CPE Lyon is a French « Grande Ecole » specialized in the fields of :
- Chemistry / Chemical Engineering and
- Electronics / Telecommunications / Computer Science.
We provide programs in these areas leading to the « diplôme d’ingénieur » (MSc degree). International students are welcome for 2 or 3 years for our degree program, or for one semester or one academic year on exchange. Help is provided for accommodation and for administrative formalities. We offer research projects in our laboratories (organic and analytical chemistry, catalysis, polymers, chemical engineering, computer science, electronics, signal processing).
Summer School : Every year in June & July : a five-week program to improve French language proficiency and scientific knowledge (in the field of chemistry and chemical engineering).

ECAM is a Graduate School of General Engineering with a main focus on Mechanical, Electrical and Industrial Engineering.
The ECAM Foundation, an officially approved organization, is materially and morally responsible for the Establishment and ensures various missions :

Mission statement
L’Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Saint Etienne (ENSM-SE) is one of the French « Grandes Ecoles » dedicated to training highly qualified engineers and to carrying out research to meet the needs of industry. .Its mission is to support the development of its students and of companies through a range of courses and fields of research, from the initial training of engineers to PhD teaching; from material sciences to micro-electronics via process engineering, the environment, industrial engineering, computer science and health engineering. A choice of 30 professional profiles in industrial engineering, IT and software engineering, management, finance, health, materials, process engineering, environment, microelectronics.

MSc in microelectronics (ISMEA)

Courses opened to international students
- Be enrolled as a normal student having passed the ENTPE selection (classes préparatoires – special selection for foreign students) in order to spend 3 years at the ENTPE and get the ENTPE degree (M2 equivalent).
- Follow the 2nd (M1 level) and 3rd (M2 level) years of the ENTPE in order to get the national ENTPE degree (M2 equivalent). Prerequisits : having successfully spent a M1 in mathematics, physics, or civil engineering and be accepted by the ENTPE jury.
- Be enrolled in M2 of one of the 12 master programs : Civil engineering (research), acoustics (research), thermics-energetics (research), Transport-space-networks (research), Transport and industrial and trade logistics (professional), Urban and regional passengers transport (professional), Urbanism and land use (professional), City and the society (research), Urban policies : governance, mediations and city management, Sciences for industrial and urban environment (research), Public policies and comparative government (research), risks in local development (professional).
- Be enrolled in the 3rd (M2 level) year of the ENTPE in order to get the “Certificat d’études supérieures” – CES - of the ENTPE. Prerequisits : having a M2 (or equivalent) in one of the ENTPE fields and being accepted by the ENTPE jury.
- Be an Erasmus student which university has an agreement with the ENTPE : possibility to follow the entire 2nd or 3rd year of the ENTPE.

ITECH LYON’s main goal is the training of engineers for several applications based on a core curricula in polymer sciences allowing the students to specialise in several industrial application: Paints - Inks - Adhesives - Cosmetics, Plastics, Textiles, Leather, shoe and leather-goods manufacturing. They will hold positions such as research engineers, commercial engineers or production engineers.
ITECH’s main subjects are : Polymers, Colour and computer aided colour control, Material processing, Experimental design, Process engineering, Industrial data-processing, Physics and chemistry, Rheology, Surface and Interface, as well as Project management - each of them being a key element for all the industries which have an interest in ITECH.
